Questions for Nancy Duitch (Founder, CEO, and Director)

ERA:
This year, the Education Committee worked tirelessly to put together a number of educational sessions, including DRTV-101. As the Chair of the sub-Committee who developed the DRTV-101 sessions (to take place on Monday and Tuesday at 8:00am and 8:30pm, respectively), could you explain the importance of DRTV-101 sessions for ERA attendees, especially those new to the DR landscape?

Nancy:
If you are looking to market the next great item that will revolutionize the consumer product world, DRTV 101 sessions are a MUST. You will be taken step by step through the direct response process on how to make the most money and make the right decisions for you and your product. The opportunity to make a pitch to industry experts will be available to all who attend, and whether you have legal, marketing, retail, finance or operational concerns they will be addressed. Please give a brief overview of what these sessions will cover.

Nancy:
Day 1 we will be opening the floor to the audience and give three lucky inventors the opportunity to give the elevator pitch to the experts. We will be covering, production pitfalls, legal considerations, marketing expertise, continuity strategy and the ability to fine tune your pitch.

Day 2 will cover the operational and financial aspects of direct marketing as well as the retail opportunites that are available. You will learn not only how to make the money, but how to make sure your bottom line goes in your pocket.

ERA:
I understand that inventors and other entrepreneurs find these sessions of value - what particular aspects of the sessions are targeted for these players?

Nancy:
Both sessions have been structured exclusively for entrepeneurs and inventors. This is a college education in three hours on how to get rich utilizing Direct Response Marketing.

ERA:
How did you select the speakers for these sessions?

Nancy:
All the panelist were selected based on their stengths and expertise in the areas we felt would have the maximum benefit for the entrepeneur and inventor. There won't be a moment wasted and most importantly, the panelist we chose are excited to share their secrets.

Overall, do you believe that ERA is maximizing its role in educating its members?

Nancy:
ERA is hungry to share it's information with anyone who is interested in learning about the industry. The educational aspect of the industry is one of the areas I most appreciate and am excited to pass on the knowledge of those who have succeeded to the next generation of entrepeneurs.
